RIP-IT Prototype II PROB -3oz 2-5/8th Barrel (2012)USED With NO/Warranty
RIP-IT Prototype II BBCOR baseball bats are made with their exclusive Advanced Tempered Ballistic Alloy. This alloy allows them to create the best possible foundation to build the best BBCOR baseball bats anywhere. The result is the most responsive barrel of all BBCOR baseball bats ever made. What this means to players is the sweet spot is replaced by what RIP-IT calls a sweet barrel. Making contact with the ball anywhere along the barrel results in a performance never before seen in BBCOR certified bats.
The switch to BBCOR baseball bats means that for the first time alloy bats have a very big advantage over BBCOR certified bats made from composite material. This advantage is noticeable on the very first swing because there is no break-in period on the Prototype II BBCOR baseball bats. As a result, players will be hitting their best from their first swing to their last.
When you travel down the barrel of the Prototype II BBCOR baseball bats you will notice there is no connection joint. It is simply one solid piece of amazing engineering. This gives the Prototype BBCOR baseball bats a stiffness and a durability that makes it unique to high performance BBCOR certified bats. The one piece design is forged from a single block of high performance aluminum. Because RIP-IT uses only a single block in the construction they are able to reduce multiple components and parts down to just one. This type of bat design means the best performance, durability, and consistency possible in BBCOR bats.

BBCOR Certified Baseball Bats
The BBCOR formula provides a better measure of the bat's performance and therefore allows the rules committee and bat testing laboratories to better predict field performance based on lab tests. The goal is that non-wood bats that meet this new standard will perform similarly to wood bats. All BBCOR bats will incorporate a logo mark once certification approval is granted. This mark will be consistent across every approved bat design so umpires will easily identify approved bats.
