When I call for the bat I wanted the CSR told me he had one for $50.00 cheaper in a Blem. I was kinda skeptical at first, but when it came in, there was no way anyone could tell it was a blem bat. There were very minor paint Blems. No one I showed it to could even tell. As for the performance, Its just now getting broke in but my daughter has improved her distance already.

I purchased a softball bat which I ordered by Email on a Sunday evening and received via regular UPS ground delivery on the following Tuesday. I was trying to find a baseball bat that everyone else was showing out of stock. Nuto Sport site came up after an intensive search for that bat, and they had it in stock. I was thrilled. I ordered it one week before Christmas and it arrived with plenty of time to spare and via FREE SHIPPING! I would recommend this site to anyone looking for sporting goods. I only have one issue, and that was the free gift. I coach in a senior league with limited financial abilities (as I am sure many are with todays economy)and due to the age and condition of our remaining equipment, chose to buy two team bats for my team. After searching locally I found any number of $200 to $250 dollar bats but nothing affordable or suitable for the rigors of team play. Then I recalled finding CloseoutBats.com from last year from whom I had purchased my own sons bat. Having been totally happy with them last year I decided to give them another try. I found two Easton Reflex bats, very reasonably priced but when I receive the e:mail notice that my order was ready and awaiting pick up, I was that I had accidentally ordered a 28 and a 30 rather than a 30 and a 32. I called their customer service number and the rep went out, found my shipment, corrected the issue and it still shipped the same day. I received the package two days later. Re: the blems, on was a missing bat size sticker on the handle the other was a slight mis-print/color overlap in the manufacturers printing process and unless you were looking for it you would never notice. Neither blemish affected the performance of the bats in any way and both have served us well over the last 3 or 4 weeks. Bought a blem bat Louisville slugger air, last years model. high quality bat, still cant figure out where the blem is. It looks like the lettering may be a little blurred on the approved for little league baseball inscription. However, we all know after the first use, all bats become blems. I can highly recommend going this route to save a ton of cash, and get a higher quality bat then you normally could afford to spend. CloseoutBats.com is the way to go if you can find the bat in the lenth/weight that you are looking for. Easy ordering, 3 day delivery was expensive, but that is what UPS charges. The batting gloves I purchased were $19.95 which is about $16.00 less that I could find anywhere else. That is a huge savings! Their shipping and handling was a little bit high, ($8.95) but still low enough to make this a great money saver! I ordered this product Christmas eve and they shipped on December 28th. I consider this to be a fast turnover being that it was in the middle of the holidays! I have purchased 2 bats over the last 3 years for my son. Both bats were great. We bought a Z-Core and Connection bats both are youth league sizes. His newest bat the Connection model was a blemished model, nothing wrong with it performance wise. Its blemish is that the greeen paint on the barrel is not as green as the store model bats my son didnt care. I recently purchased a Nokona catchers mit from CloseoutBats.com. I researched the product and price on the internet and found that CloseoutBats.com had the lowest price for this item. I paid for 2 day shipping and received the item in one day! I was excited to get the glove early. At first I wasnt sure if I was going to keep the glove because I thought the glove would be much softer than it was. The gentleman was very helpful and instructed me as to how my order would be processed most quickly. It is whats known as a Blem bat (blemish), meaning something about the bat, other than its structure, was off from specifications. made two seperate purchases. the first i have abolute total satisfaction. the bat is great and the price was incredible. the second purchase was a wood bat with three color options. the one i chose was out of stock as a discontinued item with no chance of getting it. what they sent me was the same bat with a different color scheme. admittedly that was the best that they could do, but i would rather they inform me first, had they called first i doubt that i would have ordered the bat, once i had it i did not want to go through the hassel of sending it back even though they offered a full refund. all in all i would not hesitate to do more business with them.

I called this merchant to inquire on a baseball bat that I wanted to purchase for my son on Monday. After he answered my questions, I asked if I could place the order over the phone with him. (The web site does say order on line, or by calling the 1-800 number afterall!) He told me no, that he didnt take orders over the phone. I told him I didnt feel comfortable giving my credit card information to a company such as his, that I wasnt famaliar with on line. He still wouldnt take my order via the phone. So, I ordered the bat online. It arrived 2 days later. The free gift that was suppose to be included, was not with the bat and never came. It was just a small item, but a free gift is a free gift, and when a merchant says you get one for spending xxx amount of dollars, I expect to get the free gift! Overall, the experience was okay though. Until, on Thursday of the same week I did this credit card purchase with this merchant, I got 2 emails stating that Id added an unknown person to my paypal account and authorized them to use it. I called the merchant to ask if he was involved, he said no, and I believe him. Perhaps it was a coincidence that this all happened over this credit card transaction, but it sure has made me question who I order from on line in the future. I had to report the incident to my local police, and cancel my credit card with my financial institution for fear that someone had in fact hacked in to my credit information on Paypal, after doing the purchase with this merchant for the baseball bat.
