What is a BESR Certified bat?
BESR stands for Ball Exit Speed Ratio
The Baseball Research Center, located at the University at Massachusetts at Lowell (UMLBRC), serves as the official certification center for all baseball bats used for NCAA and the NHFS. All bats are tested per the NCAA Baseball Bat Certification Protocol. The certification issued by the center is BESR (Ball Exit Speed Ratio) certification.
